FEHRL at the World Transport Convention 2019, Beijing (China)
FEHRL actively participated at the World Transport Convention – Green and Intelligent Mobility for Future Transport, held on 13-16 June 2019, in Beijing (China).
On the 14th, FEHRL Secretary-General, Thierry Goger, stressed the necessary adaptation of road infrastructure to the deployment of automated and connected vehicles at the ‘Europe-China ITS Forum’, promoting the FEHRL Cooperative Research Activities CoExist (sponsored by the European Commission) and Staple (sponsored by CEDR). On the next day, he proposed some insights into the CAVs’ (Connected Automated Vehicle) deployment and forcing impact on road infrastructure and capacity in European urban areas (CoExist), during the “Session 2: Automated Driving – Intelligent Expressway Construction and Demonstration” of the International Forum of Connected and Automated Vehicle Highway System.
