Description
Short technical description: Laboratory simulation of the short-term ageing behaviour of bituminous binders. The binder is poured in glass containers arranged in the turning carriage of the device, after which the whole set is placed in an oven preheated to 163 °C. Air is injected at a controlled rate. This process simulates the brutal ageing of the binder during the manufacture of asphalt mixtures in coating plants. Relevant standard: NBN EN 12607-1.
