International Symposium on Heavy Vehicle Transport Technology (HVTT15) to be held on 2nd-5th October 2018
Economy on wheels, fast changes, slow structures
Economy on wheels, fast changes, slow structures: the title of the 15th edition of the International Symposium on Heavy Vehicle Transport Technology (www.hvtt15.com). HVTT15 is organised from 2nd –5th October 2018 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, by the International Forum for Road Transport Technology (IFRTT), a worldwide community of all stakeholders involved in (road) freight transport. The purpose is to exchange knowledge and experiences in order to support the development of a safe, sustainable, efficient and productive road freight transport.
Started as a community of vehicle engineers, the IFRTT is confronted with different speeds and needs worldwide. In some parts of the world truck and trailer manufacturees are under stress to reinvent themselves, while in other parts the first need still is to get road freight transport more productive and safer.
The deadline for submitting an abstract is 30th November 2017. The topics of the abstracts submitted will determine the content of the symposium. Contact Loes Aarts, Vice-president Europe IFRTT, General Chair HVTT15 at loes.aarts@rws.nl for any further information or click here to get more information from the brochure.
