ECOROADS site visits organised on 6-7th November 2016 to several important tunnels in Norway

In the context of WP 4 Exchange of best practices, site visits were organised on 6-7th November 2016 to several important tunnels in Norway, including Lærdalstunnelen, the longest tunnel in the world, Gudvangatunnel and Vallaviktunnelen (where the pictures below with the roundabout where taken). The guest, NPRA also took the initiative to present to the participants the traffic control in Bergen that controls more than 240 tunnels in Norway. During the site visits, road and tunnel engineers had the chance to exchange knowledge and information that helped clarify all the technical questions that have arisen.
