INROADS project workshop to invite stakeholder input on 23rd February 2012
The INROADS project is hosting a one day workshop in Brussels on February 23rd 2012 for key stakeholders.
The INtelligent Renewable Optical ADvisory Systems (INROADS) project is hosting a one day workshop in Brussels on February 23rd 2012 for key stakeholders to hear their views on the applications identified so far, and advise on products to be developed. Through this, and ongoing communication, the project aims to develop cost effective solutions for European road owners and operators.
TRL is the lead partner of the recently awarded EC FP7 INROADS project, which aims to develop intelligent road studs, combining LED lighting, sensor systems and communication technologies. This aim sto improve safety, enable the more effective operation of the existing asset and reduce carbon emissions. More information on the project is available at http://inroads.fehrl.org.
