Catherine Birkner has joined the FEHRL office as of Friday 1st April 2011 as Communication Officer to continue to develop and execute strategic communications initiatives in support of FEHRL's work. 

Catherine is British and has lived in Brussels since 1994. She has many years of communications experience gained both in the private sector (in Unilever and SCA Packaging Europe) and the non-profit sector (in the Reproductive Health Supplies Coalition and the Pro-Cathedral of Holy Trinity). She has also worked as a journalist for a weekly trade publication and as an editor of European directories.

Catherine replaces Valerie Henry, who left FEHRL at the end of January 2011 to take up a new job in the UK. You can contact Catherine at catherine.birkner@fehrl.org.
