Julie Clarke of Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions, Project Coordinator for SAFE-10-T, participates in workshop in Thessaloniki, Greece

The SAFE STRIP project Consortium hosted the 1st Pan-European Workshop on 27th September 2017 in Thessaloniki, Greece, as a forerunner to the 8th INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS ON TRANSPORTATION RESEARCH (ICTR 2017). It was attended by Julie Clarke of Gavin & Doherty Geosolutions, Manager for SAFE-10-T, to give the relevant input.

The workshop brought together all of SAFE STRIP’s stakeholder clusters (OEM’s, Infrastructure Operators and Constructors, Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, Researchers, Policy Makers and drivers/riders associations representatives) to discuss priorities regarding the goals of the project.

The focus of the discussions were on SAFE STRIP’s targeted applications and use cases in alignment with European-level priorities and roadmaps in the domain of C-ITS.
