Watch the video of the POTHOLE project webinar on 26th March 2013

Watch the video of the third FEHRL webinar by Cliff Nicholls of TRL on 26th March 2013 to learn all about the work carried out so far on the POTHOLE project.

The main objective of the ERA-NET Road POTHOLE project, led by the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), is to address the need of road agencies for durable construction and maintenance methods for the repair of damage which occur after hard winters due to repeated frost-thaw cycles. All European countries are faced with the problem of potholes and how to repair them, but many approaches just deal with repair methods which are durable only on a short-term basis and therefore are not cost-effective. Project partners are DRD, FEHRL, TRL, University of Zilina (UNIZA), University of Twente (UT) and ZAG.

On Tuesday 26th March 2013, a special webinar was held at the end of the POTHOLE Project Management Group meeting by Cliff Nicholls of TRL on the key details of the project, its findings to date and next steps. More than 30 POTHOLE stakeholders and FEHRL members joined, but don't worry if you missed this webinar, as you can watch it here (unfortunately the quality is not optimal for the first few minutes due to disturbance) and download the slides from the link below.

A special POTHOLE Discussion Forum has been set up to cover the questions and comments related to the webinar so please take a look and make your contribution. You can also join the POTHOLE LInked Group and POTHOLE Facebook page to get more information about the project. Contact Catherine Birkner, FEHRL Communication Officer at catherine.birkner@fehrl.org if you have any questions or would like to suggest future topics for FEHRL webinars.
