At #FIRM23 Session 4: Overview of Research Activities, we had the pleasure of hearing about the groundbreaking research being conducted on Low Noise Pavements.
Judita Škulteckė presented on the project, which aims to develop innovative low-noise pavement solutions that improve the soundscape in urban areas and along major transport corridors.
With increasing attention being paid to the impact of noise pollution on health and well-being, this project is a critical step in making our cities and transportation systems more sustainable and livable. We're excited to see where this research goes and how it can be implemented in practice.
