The 10th edition of the Young Researchers Seminar #YRS2021 is underway !
From September 15 to 17, the 10th edition of the Young Researchers Seminar supported by ECTRI, FEHRL and FERSI Road Safety Research, is taking place in Portorož, Slovenia, hosted by the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Maritime Studies and Transport.
After having received feedbacks from their tutors over the last months to prepare their papers, 38 young researchers are now presenting their research and getting further feedbacks on how to improve their presentation skills.
The programme includes 11 sessions among which (2) on ITS and traffic management, (3) on Transport safety, (2) on Transport civil and road engineering, (2) on Transport economics, policy, and transport behavior, (1) on Transport logistics and freight, and (1) on Transport sustainability and environment.
This years’ Seminar also includes a keynote speech from Ms Violeta Bulc, former EC Commissioner for Transport and Mobility on "Transport and global trends". In addition, Prof. Karst Geurs (#ETRRjournal EiC) is speaking about "How to choose a journal and getting a paper published", Dr. Thierry Goger (FEHRL Secretary General) making a presentation on "How to apply to EU funded research". Lastly Ana Lúcia Pereira Pereira (ECTRI Project officer) is presenting the TRA VISIONS 2022 competitions, which represents a new opportunity for the young researchers’ to showcase their work at #TRA2022 Conference in Lisbon.
