EUTRAIN final conference and (Transport) Research Infrastructures Conference

EUTRAIN project final conference on 9th October 2013, followed by one-day Research Infrastructures event co-organised with ETRA.

 

The EUTRAIN Conference, organised by ERTICO and to be held at the Diament Center in Brussels, Belgium, brings together the scientific, policy making and European and international business communities to discuss ways for promoting future international transport cooperation. .The programme is available here. The second day of the event (10th October 2013) is a one-day conference on (Transport) Research Infrastructures, co-organised with the European Transport Research Alliance (ETRA). Click here for more details and see the draft programme here.

About EUTRAIN
EUTRAIN (European Transport Research Area International Cooperation activities), is an FP7 project funded by DG RDI, which has developed a number of recommendations and best practice reviews on key issues of international cooperation, including:

  • Programming and governance issues
  • Research Infrastructures
  • Training and human resource issues
  • Intellectual Property regimes
  • Pre-standardisation activities

The EUTRAIN project put forward a framework for international cooperation in transport research between the European Transport Research Area (ERA-T) and other regions, in order to ease existing barriers for collaboration.
